I'm a software engineer who likes problems with sharp edges — systems that need to be both correct and fast, and interfaces that need to feel obvious in hindsight. Most of my time lives somewhere between the terminal and the browser.
Outside of shipping code, I spend time reading about distributed systems, breaking down side projects into weekend-sized pieces, and slowly refining this site whenever I should probably be sleeping.
